DEDO WEIGERT: LIGHTSTREAM - PARALLEL LIGHT BEAM AND REFLECTED LIGHT

This presentation by Dedo Weigert provides an in-depth overview of the Lightstream system.

Lightstream works with a parallel beam shone into reflectors which is then directed wherever the cinematographer chooses.

"Using reflective light is nothing new, nothing exclusive, but - that we've done, is based on the optics of our lights we've put these Parallel Beam Intensifiers and they go beyond the spot performance of our lights."

Using the Parallel Beam Intensifier can increase the light output by up to 500% - this tightly focussed beam is the focussed into a reflector and then directed wherever the cinematographer chooses. A single reflector or multiple reflectors can be served by a single parallel light source - meaning, a single light can then be reflected and directed by multiple reflectors. It is therefore possible to create several sources out of a single light head.

Lightstream is suitable for feature films, TV commercials, and solo shooters throughout the world.
